The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement throughout the year. I worked on numerous projects with many people throughout the business in the UK and abroad.
I felt very valued by my colleagues. I was depended on to create new and enhance existing processes which have helped the business in a positive way.
My supervisor and all others apart of m team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all situations.
Some days were a lot busier than others, in the first few weeks of my placement there was hardly nothing to do, because the managers were very busy in their own projects. My responsibility grew over time and I has a routine of certain tasks I needed to do for weekly meetings.
I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement.
I feel that the skills that I have learnt in this placement can be used and transferred in the future and it was extremely helpful for me getting into the industry. When you have experience with a well-known and reputable company I found getting job interviews for bigger companies A LOT more easily than it was when I had to apply for placements even against the competition. These skills can help pave the way for my future profession and I can go in many different industries.
The Company
A very laid back atmosphere.
The company invested a lot of time into my training and development. So, I know I can do these type of roles in the future for another company without hesitation.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Working from home
The Culture
There are a lot of graduates, placements and apprentices so there are always social gatherings.
The cost of living is quite cheap, however it is must that you have a car.
