The Role
The work placement was brilliant! Well structured, a great management chain and support there for whenever I had an issue. The work was difficult, varied and worthwhile.
From day 1 I was a colleague, not merely a uni placement. I felt as much a part of the team as the people who have been there 15+ years.
Any issues I had I was able to raise either ad-Hoc or during our regular scheduled 1-2-1 meetings with management.
I was very busy, however there was always opportunities to share workload with colleagues if I felt this necessary.
I was given full responsibility at times. I had the same work/ responsibilities/ roles/ tasks as my permanent counterparts.
Puts all the theory of what I learnt at uni into context and shows me a 'business view' of the skills learnt at uni.
The Company
Happy, friendly, hard working and fun.
Very well, a clear plan of tasks and timings.
I attended many (expensive) industry recognised courses.

Working from home
Tremendously, I worked to look at the possible roles I could do on my return.
The Culture
Yes. Although I was in a different part of the business, we met up regularly/.
Cheap rent and cost of living.
Hatfield itself is very poor for nightlife, however London is on the doorstep!
Yes, many extra work tasks and social events to attend.
