About You
Enjoyed very much, the programme was highly beneficial.
Being there for only a week made it difficult to feel as if you were highly valued.
There was lots of guidance and support, additional help was always available when you asked for it.
I learnt things that will help me throughout my degree but not massive amounts.
The Company
The programme was very well structured with a variety of different activities and opportunities throughout the week.
The atmosphere was good. Everyone was friendly which made it easier to relax within the working environment.
Only being there for a week made this difficult. There was a specific structure to the programme meaning additional training and development wasn’t really given.
Being positioned in one area of the business made it difficult to understand the business as a whole as well as the different roles within the company. However the experience we did get in that one area was good.
The programme demonstrated that the companies culture was a friendly one and it was clear that they enjoyed having fun as well as working hard.
The programme gave a strong indication as to whether or not this particular career path would be suitable for me or not.
Everything Else
Expenses of up to £100 were covered for the week.
Yes there was a number of opportunities. Social drinks and a fee earner networking lunch.
They had a relaxed environment making it easier to settle into the event. There was opportunity to speak to everyone and ask the questions you wanted to.
We were told that they played sport as a company and they also do charity events.
Definitely.
