The Role
It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Both from a professional and social perspective. The workload was not overwhelming and the atmosphere was one which encouraged personal development and hence allowed me to preform at my best.
My interests and personal development was held in the highest regard by my colleagues.
My mentor and line manager were quintessential in supporting my professional growth as they were always at hand to resolve any queries I had.
The workload was perfectly balanced such that I had enough endeavours to keep busy but not so much that my work/life balance was negatively impacted.
I was treated like any other member of the team and hence I was given the same amount of responsibility be the one a major project or side of desk activity.
Everything from the organisational front to the technical knowledge will be transferable to benefit my future.
The Company
It was fun, positive and encouraged everyone to preform at their best.
This company has been taking on placement students for some years now so everything seemed very well organised.
Towards the start of the year they provided training sessions and materials. As the year progressed mentors and line management helped to address specific skills which could be improved.

Working from home
It is possible, but you have to apply to the graduate scheme and after completing the two years as a graduate scheme employee you are offered a job.
The Culture
Yes, as there were many other placement students and the teams were youthful, there was a culture of sociability.
My personal experience was great as I was living at home and social activities did not break my bank account.
London has a great nightlife.
Yes, countless opportunities as London is a city with a lot going on.
