The Role
Overall the placement year has been really enjoyable I have built some really strong friendship with my fellow colleagues and always look forward to going into work. You are expected to work hard at Enterprise but everyone works together which adds to the enjoyment the working environment really creates a team spirit within your individual branch.
The working environment at Enterprise means that everyone has to work together so that the task set can be completed. Due to this I have always felt like a valueable member of my branch from day 1. As my placement has progress I have been given more and more tasks showing my value.
Everyone at Enterprise follows the same trainee scheme that I have completed during the last year so as a consequence everyone in the business is able to support and guide you during your time at Enterprise. On many occasions, I have asked for support and this has been provided.
A working day at Enterprise is very hectic and you are expected to complete a lot of work and furthermore, a lot of hours however over time I have adapted to this and in many ways quite days are very boring the fast-paced side of the job I have begun to enjoy.
The training scheme that all employee follows is perfectly set up so that employees take on more responsibility during there time with the business. I was surprised how much responsibility I have been give with myself running a branch on a number of occasions but I have really enjoyed it.
I feel the skills I have developed will be really valuable in my future career, everything from time management to communication skills and delegation.
The Company
The set up of Enterprise encourages an atmosphere which is fun for employees to work within. There are activities outside of work to participate in and i have built some really strong friendship and had a real laugh during my placement.
I have been really impressed with how seamless the whole internship has been. I was given a welcome pack prior to starting my placement, an introductory week at head office to provide me with training as well as constant facilities in case I ever had any issues.
The business has a well thought out training program which has provided the necessary training and development to allow me to move into a position where I can now apply for Assistant Manager roles. The business also promotes a promotion from within mentality which is great as progressive job roles are regularly available.
Flexi Time

Company Parties/Events
After I finish I look to return to Enterprise and move into an Assitant Manager role. I have also been offered the opportunity to work part-time during my last year at university.
The Culture
There are multiple social activities to complete during enterprise including area nights out and branch meals.
I lived at home during my placement so the living cost were very cheap.
The nightlife where I live is pretty average however Enterprise branches are based all over the country so it depends where you live really.
There are lots of activities to complete outside of work such as sporting activities, charity work and social night out.
