The Role
My work placement at Enterprise Rent A Car has been phenomenal, having developed a wide variety of skills. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting people from different parts of the business. This has given an idea of what I would like to do in the future.
My colleagues have been extremely helpful throughout the placement. I have built a positive relationship with all the employees in my branch and we are one big family.
My managers Patrick and Charnelle have been extremely helpful throughout my placement. They took time out of their busy schedule to train and mentor their employees.
My branch is the second busiest branch in the North West, so as you can imagine it is a busy fast paced environment. You are constantly dealing with customers trying to satisfy their needs. Their is not a moment where you are sat around doing nothing unless you are on lunch.
The responsibility given to placement students is the same as a graduate. I learnt the duties on the job with the help of my peers. You are expected to understand each part of the business which in my opinion was excellent.
The Company
The atmosphere in my branch was bubbly, we all got on with each other and we treated each other as family.
I believe the training folder set-up by ERAC is a perfect guide as to how to run your own business successfully. You are expected the finish the training within ten months, if so you get a £500 bonus.
