The Role
Really enjoyed the placement it has allowed me to learn a lot and grow as a person
Really good people and very supportive
there is a number of people around you that have all started in the same place as you and understand what you are going through and will provide a lot of support , if you start as an intern or as a grad you all start the same no one is treated differently
Depending on your location depends on how busy you are, there is some days that are a lot more busier than others, but everyone works as a team in order to get the job done and enjoy it at the same time
The job its self provides you with a lot of responsibilities, as you are hands on with customers at the start, and the longer you have been there the more responsibility you gain. It is very good to become more independent and taking ownership is key.
I believe the skills will support me a lot within finish my final year at uni and for the foreseeable future. The job consists of a lot of responsibility's and opportunity's form sales to marketing.
The Company
Some offices where more fun than others, but there is always a good atmosphere in the branch and everyone works as a team
Brilliant, my placement all started really quickly I applied and started within 2 weeks, but everything went smoothly, we also have progression folders and training to meet within set times, which is good because it ensures you make the most out of your year.
There is a lot of personal training available and creating a more personal branch, in regards to training it is very hands on, you learn as you go within the day to day working. there is separate training available depending what you would like to go into such as sales and debt. But there is more of a support network in place, where you reach out to other members of staff in any level, where they will provide you with the support needed to grow.
Company Parties/Events
Brilliant I have already had 3 jobs offers during my placement
The Culture
there is a huge social aspect with all fellow colleagues, you spend a lot of time with one another so you become more than just work friends. There is also a lot of social activities in place, such as area nights out and female focus groups, charity days etc.
