The Role
A great work/personal life balance and a great working environment. The new offices in London Bridge are fantastic.
As an intern, we were still given the level of responsibility of a new graduate joiner.
My people manager was fantastic support
I was sometimes under-used whilst waiting for assignments to be sent my way.
Lots of responsibility doing a variety of work which will be reviewed by someone more senior but ultimately I was responsible and had to take ownership of a piece of work.
Interpersonal skills and computing skills were useful. There was also useful training at the beginning about doing the job itself and understanding audit work.
The Company
I had a great department
I think there could have been better communication from the student recruitment team in organising exit interviews and certain meetings. The group presentation could also have used some work.
They were very keen to develop me as a person and an asset and were keen to show me the potential opportunities for development within the company.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
I was even offered a deferred place
The Culture
Good interns, graduates and existing members of staff
Socialising in London is always expensive but not too bad
Being in Central London means there is no end of nightlife.
I'm sure there were but I didn't. I live in London so already had "activities"
