The Role
The team you work with massively depends on how much you enjoy it, the right team and you will love it. You get loads of responsibility and do more than you would on most placement years. It was very hard work but they tell you this before you start. Average day at work is 10 hours but you could end up working longer which is the biggest downside.
Working for enterprise is like working with family everyone is lovely and you have a laugh at work everyday. You work together long hours but you work hard to achieve something as a team which is so rewarding.
Dependant on the management you receive a suitable amount of support throughout the year. Training at head office is excellent.
There are many tasks to do but driving gives you a chance to relax a bit.
More responsibility than you would imagine.
I learnt so much about resilience and work ethic
The Company
We had a lot of banter but some days we were busy and it was tough.
Ran very well just like the grad scheme
They want you to succeed and go up in the company.
Company Parties/Events
If you work hard they will want you back! Also opportunity to work over summer and final year
The Culture
Yes they host nights out often and it’s a great way to make friends
Same as uni
Sheffield is great
Lots to do
