The Role
I think Enterprise is a great placement as it gives you a lot of responsibility and it offers many opportunities to learn different areas of a business!
I always get feedback from all different levels of employees. Be it the assistant managers, the branch manager and even head office staff each have something positive to say about your efforts.
I feel the support you receive is very strong from multiple trips to head office to one on ones with your direct manager. I think there is a potential for more designated time for training within the branch that will further enhance our learning opportunities.
There was never a day where you couldn't be achieving something. Even if the day itself wasn't busy there is always something to get on with.
I think this placement is one of the best for giving its interns responsibilities. The same role is provided whether you are an undergraduate or a post graduate. To be given the opportunity to run the branch and it's fleet is something that I have loved!
As this placement offers so many different areas to work on this makes it applicable to many further career and university related paths.
The Company
The team I have worked with at my branch has been amazing the last few months. At times with being short staffed it has been difficult throughout the day to work to the ability we know we can do however the atmosphere has always been positive!
It is a very structured placement in terms of the training folders. It is very much up to you however as to how much you want to get out of the placement.
The company does want you to do well and it is clear at every level.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
As I have completed their training programme I can come back and apply for a management role.
The Culture
The area that I worked in was quite a large area so the social side of things was difficult at times, along with the hours you worked.
The hours are very long so it did make life difficult after work.
