The Role
The team atmosphere really made the experience for me - it was outstandingly supportive and feedback was given formally and informally
Definietly - as above the support and guidance was generally very good.
I felt I was well utilized by most teams that I worked in meaning there was always something to be getting along with
There were opportunities to take on repsonsibility yet this was balanced with the support meaning I never felt too out of my depth with clients
The internship was a fantastic insight into the business environment and I certainly feel the skills that I developed over the course of my time there have proved and will prove useful in the future.
The Company
A mix, the team environment always felt friendly and engaging but when there was work to be done everyone got down to it.
Communication with HR was generally good and prompt. The internship certainly felt organized.
The internship began with a short 3 day training program in a conference facility. Beyond that, much of the learning was 'on the job' but support was always there.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
At the end of the internship I received an offer to join the graduate program.
The Culture
Yes - some events were organized for us. Additionally we were involved in and invited to any events that were held within our departments. Informally we regularly met up for drinks with the other interns.
London life is certainly expensive
Though expensive there is certainly a lot of choice!
Absolutely, along with social events I got involved with company sports teams although you are very much left you arrange that yourself.
