The Role
The PwC Insight Academy was the most inspiring experience and has given me the motivation to pursue a career in the Professional Services Industry, in particular with PwC
No matter how senior the colleagues I met were, they were all incredibly friendly and welcoming
At PwC there exists a fantastic support network so that there is always someone to talk to about any issue you may be facing
We were definitely kept busy, but the friendly atmosphere meant that every moment was fun
The Insight Academy has developed my leadership, teamwork and communication skills, as well as my knowledge of business through applied case studies and situational tasks which has given me a huge advantage in my studies as a lot of what we learn from a book I have seen with PwC in real life
The Company
Everybody was keen to work hard but also have a fun time which translated into a warm and friendly environment
There was a clear structure to the entire week, which was sent to us all in advance of the Insight Academy. Although we were kept busy there was lots of opportunities for breaks and networking with other PwC employees and students
I felt extremly valued with the amount of time, support and guidence that PwC invested in me. They gave me my first opportunity in life which I will never forget
After an incredible experience at the insight academy, I have been offered a year placement which I have happily accept and cannot wait to begin!
