The Role
I had a great experience on my internship and really enjoyed it
I felt welcomed and very supported by all my colleagues
There was always someone there to help and answer any questions I had
I always had work to do but never felt overworked
I had responsibility for several tasks to complete throughout the duration of my placement
I have already used the teamworking and time management skills I learned at university and can see myself using these and also technical skills I learned in my future job
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming
From arranging plans for the induction week to being told what to expect throughout the duration of my internship, the programme was very well organised
PwC developed my soft skills as well as technical skills at the induction week and also through the experiences I got in my role
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I have accepted a graduate offer with PwC which I am looking forward to starting next year
The Culture
We had team lunches as well an intern and department nights out
I was based in Glasgow, so the costs of socialising was reasonable and I lived at home during my placement
The Glasgow office is in the city centre so there are lots of restaurants and bars near to the office
I took part in the Great Scottish Run as part of the PwC team, which was a great experience
