The Role
I really enjoyed my placement. It was a placement that I felt challenged me and allowed me to display my skills to the fullest extent.
In enterprise the people is what makes it. They put so much effort into developing you. My area manager was so hands on and ensured that I was fully supported throughout my placement. I wasn't treated as a placement student but the same as any other employee.
Fully. I could not have asked for a better area manager he put so much effort in to developing me as an employee. Also the HR team help so much they are available all the time and are so approachable. My manager for the majority of my time was so supportive couldn't have asked for a better manager for me to spend the majority of myt placement with. Any time I was struggling he took supporting me in my stride.
Do not underestimate the time commitment needed to work in enterprise. It is a lifestyle. The work life balance can be challenging but if you are committed it can be rewarding. The people are amazing however so although you are there most of your day you are spending it with good people.
During your placement you are able to start taking on responsibility from a really early point. There are no constraints in what you can do within the company on all areas. I was able to apply for a promotion during my placement and was successful. This allowed me to gain even further management skills. They did not view me any differently to other members of staff and this was very encouraging.
The best thing about this placement is they did not limit my ability to learn. We were able to learn skills from all angles, including marketing, accounting, management, presenting and logistical skills. The list is endless. If you want a placement that allows you to try lots of different areas this is great for it.
The Company
The office life is good. Everyone in enterprise is likeminded so you can find people that are on your wavelength in every branch. There are some days that you cant stop laughing and almost forget that your in work. Some days when your tired you can get on each others nerves but its like a family your around each other so much you get over things so quickly.
Very well organized. The recruitment process was slick and from the moment I was offered the job to getting it the support was endless. I received a good luck box when I was doing my exams before I even started. The training days was so good and fun. There were regular check ins and training for us to gain support when we needed. We also received an intern appreciation day at the end where we were congratulated and thanked for our time.
They invest extensively into their placement students you are not treated any differently to any other employee. You do the same graduate training program as gradates. They allowed me to get promoted which is something I haven't heard from any other placement provider. The support is endless. My area manager couldn't have been better.

Enterprise promote from within they are constantly ready to talk to you about your future and prospects. I have been promoted during my time so I have been approach by many area managers offering me prospects in their area. I know of no other company that 100% promotes from within and there are job openings every day ready for you to progress.
The Culture
Yes, I met some great people not only within my branch but also in other branches doing placements aswell. We have remained close and will definitely keep in touch in the future.
I lived at home so living was very easy for me I had good support at home which helped my progress in work great. Socializing was really easy as I had friends at home and there was another branch in my area that we have gone on nights out with.
Swansea is a great night out. The area nights out are so much fun and you see another side to some of the people in your area which is funny.
You are encouraged to do community care days which is fun. But work hours are sometimes difficult to balance time out of work
