The Role
It was really great - would definitely work for them
Very valued - I was invited out for team dinners/drinks etc, and made to feel like a full time member of staff.
I met my manager several times a week and got given/gave feedback on the project.
I was very busy - worked quite late some nights but this was always my choice - and the work was interesting so I didn't mind working late.
I met board members of some of the biggest UK firms we were advising. I also was given deliverables to work on myself that went directly to the clients.
Really useful - particularly in a consultancy job.
The Company
It was serious when it needed to be - but everyone was friendly and chatted to each other.
Very well set up - we were sent emails regularly keeping us up to date - and could always go and speak to HR about anything we wanted.
I went to a training day whilst there - we had a week of training at the beginning.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I have a job for next year with them.
The Culture
We had socials once a week at least - and will stay in touch with a lot of the other placement students.
I was based in London so it was very expensive - however, we were paid more to recognise this.
