The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my internship at Enterprise, it has been a fun and friendly company to work for, with different challenges each day and great opportunities to progress.
I am valued like a permanent member of staff at Enterprise, staff do not differentiate between those who are short term interns, year interns, post graduates and permanent members of staff. There is an expectation that we all progress with the company regardless of current position.
Allocated mentors provided support both in terms of what we were learning but also in moral support as to any difficulties we were experiencing and any challenges. Also had the opportunity to receive mentoring and guidance from areas managers and heads of departments.
Each day is very different and it depends on the office you are located at, but there is never a dull moment, there is constant work to be doing and if not there is always opportunities for additional training.
Huge amounts of responsibility, to take on roles, set targets for the office and individuals, being able to take your own stint on the situation and make it your own.
Huge amount of skills and abilities have been gained from this internship. Confidence, ability to speak with customers, dealing with challenges have all been developed during my placement. Also on a university level, dealing with accounts, chasing bad debt, marketing, managing styles are which are relatable to my current degree and where I want to go in the future.
The Company
Constant, fun and friendly environment with a great team ethic throughout, you all pull together and work as a team.
Very well organized, induction week with all new hires at the start, a day at your allocated office to give a bit of an insight as to what it is like to work there. Receiving monthly training in different subjects to ensure development is being made. And also receiving monthly reviews from branch managers and mentors for additional guidance and support.
Never treated any differently being an intern, there is an expectation that you will come back to the company, the company spent just as much time and effort with me and all other new hires.

The Culture
Several times, social nights out with the team and other branches close by and at larger corporate events.
