The Role
The Company
Good working atmosphere with the opportunity for many social events after work. (work hard play hard)
Extremely well set up. The general feeling was that the colleagues viewed the internship process as being crucial in identifying future talent.
The internship started off with a one week residential training programme in London (all expenses paid). The internship also included regular training days for the like of I.T systems in use within the company and general development programmes.

Company Parties/Events
The majority of interns were offered jobs. If you impress, you will be too. The company is highly respected in their industry and their appears to be good opportunities for promotion to higher levels.
The Culture
One whole day during the internship was set aside for the whole of the office (including senior staff) to attend an 'away day' which involved a lot of fun outdoor activities.
It was in Glasgow so I guess it depends on you're individual perspective. I have lived here all my life so didn't find it different. If you are coming from London, it will be cheap, if you're coming from a smaller town, you might find it dear. Like most places as well you can do things dear or cheap so it's up to you really.
Glasgow is brilliant. So many clubs, so many pubs, so many restaurants. A bit of everything for everyone and they are mostly really good. And everyone is friendly.
I personally was involved with the 11 a side football team on a couple of occassions. But I know of people doing other activities too and there was good opportunities.
