The Role
Extremely fast-paced but also very friendly environment to be working in
Opportunity to talk to anyone should you require. The network here is huge and you can ask for help from anyone in the firm.
Support provided if you require. Management is very good at giving daily feedback
Extremely busy with project work, work shadowing, meeting other members in the firm
Limited responsibility due to regulation but the project work is meaningful in the scope of the business.
Learnt new languages and ways of expression. The way that people think at the firm is unique and innovative
The Company
Positive working atmosphere with a lot of encouragement and mentorship
Really well structured. Training in the first week flowed really well into actually joining the desk in the second week
Lots of time spent developing interpersonal skills rather than specialist business knowledge
Subsidised Canteen
Hopefully I will get the opportunity to return and work with the same people
The Culture
All markets interns would go out together and there is a large community beyond my specific division of going out together
Canary Wharf is an expensive area of London however the lifestyle is commensurate with the atmosphere and the job.
Great. Very well balanced with the opportunity to have any sort of night you would like.
Not really sure what opportunities there were however I imagine as a full time employee there are significantly more.
