The Role
I really enjoyed my work placement as it allowed me to have an insight in working life and prepare myself for future full time employment. I also met lots of people like myself who i could relate to and will stay friends with after the placement. It was a really enjoyable 12 months
I felt really valued by my collagues. We were always having days out and competitions to feel like a valued employee. There was plenty of rewards and really did make you feel appreciated and that you were a worthy employee within the company and that a future career was on the line
I always was provided with support through my managers. whenever i had a problem i never found it an issue to approach them and ask for advice or help. They were really welcoming and nothing was too much of an issue. I would say they were very supportive throughout the placement.
Very very busy. The days are crazy busy which means the hours go very fast. the days are long but they are over within the blink of an eye which is good. They fly by and you are always doing something different so it keeps it exciting day in day out
I was given lots of responsibility whilst on placement with enterprise as you are left to run the office on your own when you are comfortable enough. this really makes you feel valued in the business and makes you feel like a massive part that they would struggle to be without.
I developed lots of skills that i have developed and will continue to develop whilst at university. Some of these skills i had already touched upon in my previous jobs but this job allowed me to take this even further. They have helped me grow as a person and also an employee.
The Company
The general atmosphere in my first office wasnt great. I then moved to another office in the area and this completely changed. The atmosphere was buzzing and we all got on really well. i think this is because we are all of a similar age and have the same interests.
The work placement was very very organised. whilst i was waiting for my start date i still received regular updates from Enterprise and they were always in touch. They had start dates lined up and then a career path in place so you can know exactly what stage of training you should be at.
The company gives you all the training and development that you require. There are plenty of training days and can take on more if you feel the need to do so. There is no problem with asking your other employees for further training and development if you want to do so.

The Culture
Yes there is a very good social scene. as discussed above, everyone is similar age and has similar mindsets so its really easy to make friends and find someone to go out with. I have made some really good friends whilst working at enterprise which i will stay friends with even out of work.
