The Role
Great team, work is challenging but never boring. Can only recommend
Team spirit is great. Overall people try to accommodate you as much as possible and include you also in social gatherings
Support was there but you have to ask for it. Cant take anything for granted
Fluctuating but due to the desk. Overall kept busy but in quiet times no need for facetime
Tasks are easy in the beginning, but pick up in difficulty, when the work requires. Overall low responsibility
The skills learned here are new even for someone who studied finance. Real life training that is highly applicable to studies
The Company
Positive atmosphere, at times really busy. Never found someone who would not explain stuff to you
Organisation was top at all times.
Trainings were intensive with Case Studies, speaker series and 1-week training at the start
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Good to very good. Don't have a clear overview yet
The Culture
Social interaction with other interns was good, basically you see each other on the weekends as well
Cost of living is quite high, but nothing out of the ordinary. Salary covers expenses + weekends quite well
In Canary Wharf basically not given, but inside London got better
Not as much as in other banks I suppose but definetly sth to participate in (JPM Corporate Run, Social Day)
