The Role
I really enjoy my internship so far. Colleagues are very helpful. Receive lots of responsibility. Fellow interns are great.
Colleagues are very friendly and always respect me. In case of questions they are willing to take time and help me out.
I received great guidance and support from my manager. Every day he asks me how I am doing and challenges me by several questions.
There is always work to do, which is a good thing because I really learn a lot.
Received lots of responsibility throughout my internship. Building models, sending around emails, talking with external sources etc.
I am sure I will be able to use the skills I obtained within this internship. Communication skills increased a lot, as well as knowledge about business life.
The Company
The atmosphere is very open. People are friendly and very easy approachable.
Would have been great if they organised more social events to get to know other interns as well as colleagues.
We received several trainings from Fitch. These were really good, helpful and entertaining.
There are many places available for employment within the firm. When joining you will be rotating in a graduate programme with four rotations on different desks. This sounds great.
The Culture
Interns were very open and willing to hang out. We often went to several bars and restaurants in Canary Wharf.
Pretty expensive area, but this is probably the same over whole London.
There were quite some bars en restaurants close to the office. On Thursdays and Fridays it would be packed outside on the terraces.
No I have not heard of any activities to get involved in. Maybe this was because of summer. They organised some sports events in May and September though.
