The Role
It would depend on the rotation I was currently doing. Logistics offered the most support and continued guidance
There is not a dull day, the placement is intense and hard work but it pays off
Again, very much dependent on the rotation, some managers are more willing to give you responsibility. Logistics were outstanding.
I'm not the same person I was when I started my placement, the development in my professional and technical skills has far exceeded expectations
The Company
In every rotation I had a lot of fun, even in head office it can be very light hearted. As long as the work is getting done, everyone is up for a laugh.
This was an aspect that disappointed me, the only recommendation would be to take your learning in to your own hands, don't wait for someone to arrange things for you. If you want to do something, ask, if you don't enjoy something, say. Just need the confidence to be firm with how you're feeling, the experience is what you make it.
Not so much from the people specifically in charge of my training (RTCs and head office training and development). But managers within departments invested a lot to teach you everything.
