About You
Simply put, this insight has been amazing! The professionalism of the persons you engage with is outstanding as is their commitment to actively seek your involvement.
I always felt that the people I worked and engaged with saw me as an equal, perhaps not in legal experience (of course), but in areas such as respect for my deadlines, tasks, learning requirements and personal responsibilities.
The guidance and support varied depending on what seat you were in and your colleagues own work deadlines. From a graduate recruitment point of view the support was 100% 24/7!
As I embark on my new career I believe this experience has been extremely beneficial.
The Company
The professionalism, timelines and expectations were exactly what I expected of such a well-respected international firm. They truly act in a manner that they advertise.
Everyone you meet is friendly, welcoming and interested in you as a person as well as a future trainee. Enough cannot be said about how comfortable it was to come to work every day.
The company did their very best with the time available to keep us learning at every stage from the time you walk into the door until the moment you leave. Daily scheduled events and after work hour events to build unity and knowledge sharing.
My insight program was very transparent and open about expectations, hours, projects and tasks a trainee is often given. It was great!
One of the biggest areas of satisfaction was the consistency seen from all levels regarding the corporate culture of unity and team work.
Daily we were educated on different practice groups while being provided with the opportunity to speak to leaders in their respective field.
Everything Else
Beyond what I had expected. The company respects the sacrifice and commitment a person take son coming to the city and their support is greatly appreciated.
Daily opportunities, an open door policy, active engagement throughout the week and social events were all aimed at such interactions.
Awesome. Comfortable for all types, no pressure, easy conversing and equal opportunities for everyone to get involved.
Yes! Social, team-based, Pro Bono; all such activities were discussed in detail and encouraging as a staple to ensure a work-life balance.
