The Role
Really wide range of experience. Good variety of clients and training courses. Work colleagues were always there to help you and guide you in your tasks. There was times when there was no work available which was not as fun.
Good feedback at the end of the placement. Audit team leader always made me feel valued. Feedback would be appreciated after each audit client to allow development throughout placement.
Great advice, help and guidance.
Some periods of intense work which were enjoyable. Very few times when there was no work available.
Great amount of responsibility to do the job you would be doing as a graduate joining the company. Although help was always on hand when needed.
On the job training and experiences will really help me in my future career and group projects during my degree. The presentation skills course has also helped me in my degree.
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly. The office is open plan so you get to know everyone regardless of seniority.
Everything was organised for you. All activities, travel and accommodation.
Attended training at the companies manor house led by external consultants.
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Try to convert all summer interns to graduate trainees.
The Culture
Socialised with other interns at Bradenham manor and at the volunteering day. Socialised with colleagues outside of work and always felt included.
During the Edinburgh festival so socialising was expensive due to inflated prices.
Capital city so night life was very good.
Football tournaments and after work drinks and meals.
