The Role
was an enjoyable placement with plenty of varying types of work.
never looked down on, was asked for my opinion on things I could help with, never in a patronizing manner.
plenty of support and guidance, gone maybe have gotten more extensive help with some things but all in all was decent.
work load was varied so some days I was more busy than others, never too overwhelmed but sometimes was waiting on projects or in between projects meaning I had a lighter workload.
saw some important projects out from start to finish, having been trusted with all the measuring, design and ordering. I had plenty of support throughout and could ask as many questions as I wanted, but It was definitely my project and was left to it.
all was very relevant, having covered some of the same things at university, this meant I was getting to practice the theory id learnt in a work environment. I can honestly say it helps to have the theoretical knowledge and having applied it as well.
The Company
atmosphere was a good balance between a work environment and been able to have a laugh at the same time.
good induction
would've been better if I was put through more official training to come way with some kind of qualifications.
The Culture
same as university so wasn't really any different for me.
good night life
