The Role
I really enjoyed the internship - the company is fantastic and my colleagues are very supportive
I had support from different areas of the entire team
When given tasks, I was able to ask questions if I struggled
Except for the first week, I was very busy and usually had 3 tasks on any given moment
Reasonable level of responsibility given my intern status and experience
I put into practise financial and analytic skills, and I found my understanding grew much deeper
The Company
Everyone was friendly and encouraging, office atmosphere quieter due to summer
HR set up many intern events, talks and socials, and only suffered one very late software installation
Frequent speaker sessions with both a professional and industry specific focus
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
The internship has a very large focus on transition into a graduate role
The Culture
Many socials and after work drinks with the other interns
The city is very expensive - can not be avoided
Lots of places to places to drink and eat covering different budgets
The are initiatives such as art tours and society events such as wine tasting
