The Role
It was truly interesting and valuable experience. I had a great time discovering Finance while working on challenging tasks and meeting industry professionals.
The team was very welcoming and friendly but maintained a professional approach. Each of them tried to assign and help me to try out different tasks at the same time being open for questions and support.
Each task was explained carefully, the team and supervisors always open for questions. I was also provided with workshops and more challenging tasks from the senior management team.
The begging of the internship was more slow-paced but as I showed initiative to try different tasks from different teams later on had a fully busy day.
I had to prepare tasks on my own which later on were revised and incorporated into bigger projects.
It was an eye-opening experience, got to know a lot about financial terms and different divisions. Besides, participation in the workshops allowed to have a clearer image of the skills needed in the financial world and were adaptable to my degree.
The Company
Had only small IT issues at the biggining
Was provided with great workshops, books for further reading and access to industry data websites.
