The Role
Very much so, I enjoyed the challenges, and being out of my comfort zone
I couldn't initially make the most insightful contribution, but everyone was keen to let me test out my ideas and learn
one week of training, further training sessions that were team specific
usual hours were 9am -1am, constantly had a steady stream of work
Being of a non finance back ground, initially i needed more assistance, but it ramped up as the weeks went on
you learn how to work in a team with different personalities and ideas
The Company
Generally hardworking but friendly, everyone is keen to go the extra mile
We had structured reviews at the midpoint and the end to see how we improved measurably
they gave us a week of full time training, and everyone is always happy to talk things through with you
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
International Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
Lots of the people in the team i interned for have spent their whole career there
The Culture
work permitting, we made sure to get out at least once a week
London is expensive, but you're compensated well and it doesn't feel so tight
open air drinks, sports night, relaxed eating out options but no actual clubs
you can always organise something as a team, and people are happy to join in
