The Role
I loved it, felt as though i was a core member of the team. My mangers often relied on me when on holiday etc. 9/10 would come back
I often got the chance to own projects, something that has really helped to boost my confidence. i got the chance to deal with some very senior members of the company and never did I feel out of my depth
Alot of the time i was left to fend for myself which I enjoyed. being able to forge my own pathway as been somethign that as been really help. help was always on hand if needed
Yes and No, working in global team meant that often managers would be travelling. There were times when work was very hectic, i never felt swamped, but there were also times when the work flow wasn'y coming our way
2 months into my placement i was already providing board updates. 6 months I was owning projects and various weekly FC tasks. By the end of it I was able to help out and be knowledgeable on all areas of the business
Not much, doing a maths and finance degree a lot of the stuff i was doing doens't really add value to my degree. however i never want to go into acedemia, I've always wanted to go into business. so not overly bothered about this other than may be tricky to get back into swing of it all
The Company
Really good, Buzz especially at QE, very vibrant team, that I loved working with.
Seemed structured, by no means would i say that it was unstuctured managers always intersted in my personal development
help always there when needed
Subsidised Canteen

Working from home
Very, I've been asked to come back once I graduate, however there are no set grad schemes which may make it hard for others. This however is being worked on
