The Role
The work I was able to engage with in my role was particularly good as it was often tailored to my own interests. There were a number of friendly experienced colleagues whom I was able to learn form and enjoyed working with. 13 months as an intern in SAP has left me hungry for more.
The work I did felt massively valued and many of my tasks were born out of necessity rather than just undertaking meaningless intern jobs.
Communication was not always as regular as I would've liked with my manager but the ability to be very honest and open when I did speak with them and the actions they would take on those conversations was very good.
At times my role lacked structure meaning that at some points in my internship I was not as busy as I would have liked.
I was given the chance to engage and contribute to many important projects. In a large organisation however I was surrounded by many experienced colleagues so I took hopportunity to learn rather than taken on more responsibility
The skills that I learnt in this placement will be invaluable going forward.
The Company
The office was often quiet as my team spent a lot of time onsite, luckily the large intern program meant that I was able to still make friends at work and enjoy being in the office
It's a well established internship but I felt my role could have been structured better.
Company online training is always available but I wasn't sent on any training or development courses.

I would be interested to return for the right role.
The Culture
Yes the intern network is very social and supportive
I never lived or socialised in the area we worked as we'd always go into London which is obviously quite expensive.
Again in the area where the office is Nightlife is non-existent but London is more lively!
Not many apart from the office football team
