The Role
thoroughly good insight into the business and the way real estate operates and functions.
very much so. everyone was very caring and encouraging towards us as interns. a lot of support and help with work and the next steps to a career in real estate.
a great extent. they provided good supervision and support for learning new things.
relatively busy, some days more than others but depending on the workload and resource allocation at the beginning of the week/day of other grads or surveyors who needed assistance
a fair amount of responsibility. it was very much a learning curve as a non-cog intern with little knowledge on the technical side of real estate.
will definitely help towards a career in property. use of excel too for everyday work.
The Company
very positive. very male dominated but good banter and a friendly environment to be in.
well. there were plenty of training courses set up by HR to give us useful skills for the job and beyond.
a fair amount. delegated me tasks throughout and taught me to use some of the software.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
very appealing, there is plenty on offer here at CBRE with a lot of good employee retention strategies and bonuses
The Culture
yes - the other interns were very social with a group chat encouraging us to meet up for drinks/lunch and other events
very expensive - standard london prices working in Marleybone but there was discount in some of the local pubs
great - did sometimes involve getting taxis to the destination at the end but still good
not that many, they organised a sports day which just happened to fall in our intern which was good
