The Role
I really enjoyed working at enterprise for the year, I learnt effectively how to run a branch and also was able to get an insight into different departments. For instance, I worked in marketing, sales and service, risk. Was overall a well rounded experience. I also built a great relationship with my team! The only thing is you have to be prepared to work hard and do long hours.
We definitely operated like a family, the team always showed appreciation when I went away.
My branch manager was always willing to help me! he was approachable and I believe one of the best managers in the area. He taught me the best way to do things and helped me to develop quickly
My branch was quite busy, especially in the summer. We operate like an airport as all customers walk into us. We also work in the same office as five other rental companies so it did feel busy a lot of the time.
I was given the opportunity to be a captain each month. For instance I took on captain roles for sales and service, damage captain, callback captain and marketing captain. This enabled me to improve my leadership skills and make decisions to improve these areas of our business. As I gained more knowledge and became more experience I also began running the branch where I was managing how many cars we had on our fleet in order to ensure all customers had a vehicle and were left completely satisfied with our service.
I have gained skills which I can transfer to any job in the future! I improved my communication skills, phone handling, problem solving, use of initiative, leadership, team working and organisational skills. I cant think of a skill that I have not developed!
The Company
We had a comfortable environment where we would work hard but also laugh and make jokes with each other. My team made the job easier.
Very organised! There was clear goals set and a checklist each month. We also had projects we had to complete. Overall was excellent
I had training every few months and was constantly being trained by my branch manager
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
