  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I throughly enjoyed my time at BASF. I worked as a Market Analyst and was given the opportunity to get involved in a variety of different projects. In addition, I was also invited to attend external events and cricket matches throughout the year.

  • I felt very valued by the colleagues I worked with. I was always given appreciation for the services that I provided by everyone who I worked with in the organisation.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was given support and guidance from the very first day from my manager. My manager always tried to get me involved in projects that were best suited to my skill set. In addition, my manager also tried to get me involved in areas in which I could further develop as an individual.

  • I was given a lot of responsibility throughout my placement as I completed projects for the senior management team and sales managers.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very good. I enjoyed talking to everyone in the office and established good friendships. The staff were friendly and eager to know about my background and experiences. I still remain in contact with the people I worked with at BASF.
