Above my expectation really

My supervisor was always here whenever I needed help, always had time for me, was very patient and did not my answering my stupid questions
had enough work to do to keep busy during the day.

everyone was friendly. there was music in the lab... fun to work
very well organised.... at the beginning of the placement we went to Bristol for an induction/workshop to refresh our practical skills and what a day of work at GSK would be. It was also a good opportunity to meet the other IPs
There were several opportunity offered to us to present in front of an audience or to organise events ie to take responsibilities.

Yes, everyone was friendly and we all got along fine
Being outside of London... it was relatively cheap
