The Role
Was placed in an physical engineering team when I was studying electronics so not a great start. The team was dying out due to changes in the industry. There was very little to do and I spent the whole 3 months incredibly bored. I was due to do a year but changed to 3 months because of this.
Most of the team did help and tried to show us things but there simply wasn't much to see whilst we were there.
Manager and seniors had very little clue as to what we were doing
Had nothing to do most days. Just sat there, very bored
None
It was nice to see inside a large company with some lovely cars but in the grand scheme of things I learnt little of value
The Company
Pleasant atmosphere mostly
The first week was organised but as soon as you were put into your team the communication stopped
They paid wages for the summer, not other investment
National Travel
Maybe if I could work in a team where there is something to do it might be better
