The Role
I enjoyed my internship to a large extent, largely due to how friendly and helpful my co-workers are, and also due to the fact that I learnt much technology and industry-related knowledge on my role.
Proper training was given to me to help me get started on my role, and the tasks I was given with were of certain difficulty level such that my work will make a difference to my colleagues'.
A lot of attention has been given to me to help me understand my task or to adapt to the environment.
I would not consider myself as busy as full-time employees, who also have a reasonable schedule.
I would say a reasonable but not great amount of responsibility was given to me, judging from the difficulty and importance of the task I was given with.
The programming and networking skills I developed on the job were invaluable, which will definitely help me with university projects and even the development of my future careers. What I value the most is the networks and friendships I developed during this internship, which will definitely benefit and inspire me in the long run.
The Company
It seemed to be quite friendly and relaxing.
Overall it was very thoughtfully organised such that we will have various sorts of training every week aside from our everyday job.
The company invested heavily in interns in terms of helping them develop networking skills, which could be seen in the various networking events they asked us to join.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Considering all the factors discussed above, the future employment prospects within this organisation seem to be quite appealing.
The Culture
There is a decent amount of social scene among fellow interns.
The costs of living and socialising in central area could be exorbitant.
N.A.
I heard there were regularly organised gallery visits and charity opportunities initiated by company and company employees.
