The Role
Really enjoyable. Challenging and rewarding, every day.
Senior members can be dismissive, but that's to be expected.
All the support and guidance that I ever needed. My manager was very giving of his time.
Busy but mainly working on interesting topics. Occasional quiet periods, but not many.
I had to present frequently and give input when at meetings. My project is important to the team, however the deadline for it's completion is not pressing so that reduced the responsibility I had.
Time-management, relationship-management as well as a huge amount of technical skills. This internship will definitely assist me when I return to college and beyond.
The Company
Hard-working but friendly.
Regular intern events and activities. Also my manage had a clear goal in mind for my project and what he expected from me.
Intern learning session were interesting and helpful/relevant.
