  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a great way to spend my summer in the city as well as meet new people and experience a different professional line (Tax)

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt very welcome and cared for. They entrusted me with important tasks and trusted me to have deliverables of good quality and value.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was given a lot of support initially but then as I got to get more acquainted with the work and clients, they offered less and less support and trusted me to complete the work in my own manner.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There were quite a few dry spells of time, especially for those who didnt have to work on a Week 6 presentation. Would recommend more work for SIPs or more structure for which clients to work on for the time frame.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learnt many soft skills as well as many technical tax expertise that i believe complemented my studies in a constructive and positive way.

  • Everyone was very nice and casual but proficient in their work which Is a balance that I really value.

  • There was quite a bit of free time but the busy periods were thoroughly enjoyable.

  • There were a lot of opportunities to learn technical and soft skills and the experience maps made sure that i would do a lot of things that helped me gain a lot of exposure
