The Role
The work placement was very interesting but at times I found myself with little to do and chasing work from very busy partners.
All of the colleagues that I sat near made a concerted effort to make me feel comfortable and at home and they even took me out for lunch!
I was given a trainee to look after me throughout my time at the firm and they were very attentive and willing to help.
I had a underlying project to do throughout which kept me busy for the most part, however, at times I did feel like I didn's have much to do.
I was able to draft client documents and do some research for legitimate cases.
The skills I learnt really helped me in my pursuit of a legal career and made it clear to me what areas I needed to work on.
The Company
Everyone in the office was very friendly and the atmosphere was very open and welcoming.
The placement was very well organised and gave a full insight into life at the firm.
The firm spent time on making sure that I was integrated into the firm and had a good understanding of what would be expected of me if I was to join.
Company Parties/Events
I was offered a job at the end of my placement and am very excited to be working with the firm.
The Culture
The trainees and partners all seem very willing to get involved socially and events are organised throughout the year.
Nottingham is a very cheap and lively city and enjoyable.
Nottingham is a very lively city and the office is right in the centre!
The firm organise charity events, social events and sporting events so there is an opportunity for everyone to get involved.
