The Role
Pro’s: -big 4 experience(looks great on cv) -work with smart, kind people -good stepping stone into a financial career, can get a job offer before you graduate Con’s: -not enough work/responsibility -sometimes get lucky to have a good counsellor, if you’re stuck with someone who is busy, you will end up missing out on things other interns do -boring, essentially the work you conduct is dry Room for improvement: -set work for the 6 weeks -training at the beginning to get you up to speed with a few technical skills -rotational internships, rather than 1 service line -better communication from recruitment(however they are not bad, just sometimes lacking) Summary: Good internship, working on big clients, an amazing stepping stone into a full time position(they will nearly give you an offer if you don’t mess up 9/10), however some work is boring(printing), and you don’t actually learn much(which is expected as it’s 6-8 weeks).
Not enough work
Unless you’re studying accounting, not relavent in the slightest, even then, still not helpful.
