The Role
To a very large extent, it is the best job I have ever had since graduation. The positive energy and vibe that flows through the floor every day was more than enough to make me feel comfortable and enjoy the internship experience.
No matter their seniority, everyone that I approached were willing to take time out of their day to speak to me.
The support system in the team I worked with was so strong to the extent that I could call any team member even when they are out of the office or working from home.
The exciting part of my daily schedule was that I could determine how busy I wanted to be on a daily basis because we had tools to help manage how time and schedules, which I honestly think is incredible.
I had a very adequate support system and as such allowed me to oversee projects from beginning to the end even when my manager was on vacation.
Honestly, I think of my experience as the Bank paying me to unlearn, relearn and learn again.
The Company
The atmosphere for me is the people in the office. Amazing people. I wouldn't think twice if I had the opportunity to work with them again.
It was very obvious that so much thoughts went into organising the internship. It further proved that the bank had us in mind every step of the way.
We had 3 weeks of training before starting on the desk, thereafter, We had weekly mandatory sessions just to mention a few.
