The Role
Enjoyed the internship
Felt valued by all colleagues I came into contact with
Given support and guidance throughout the internship by supervisors on all projects that I worked on
I was reasonably busy most days however there were some days when there was less busy . Was then good to be able to complete the online training.
Given a reasonable amount of responsibility on all the projects I completed.
Skills I developed will be useful in my career and for the remainder of my degree. The training I received will be useful for my future career.
The Company
Was a good atmosphere. Mix of more serious work and more relaxed conversation
Was well organised; had been assigned clients to work on for the entire duration of the internship. However, on one of the clients there was less work for me to do.
Received lots of training. More formal training during the first week and less formal training on the job during the remainder of the internship.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing. I hope to receive an offer for the graduate scheme.
The Culture
Yes, attended a number of social events with other colleagues and placement students. Provided a good opportunity to get to know other people at KPMG.
I lived at home so was same as normal.
Good.
Were a number of social events that vacation students were invited to.
