The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed the internship. Meeting like minded people who are aiming for the same goal was very rewarding and fresh. They also rented a boat for everyone on the Thames!
I felt very valued and included from day one of the internship, which just made the whole process so much easier.
Support was always given and a helpful colleague was always on hand to help or answer any queries i had.
I was mostly at clients with work to do. However, there were some times where there was no feasible work i have the understanding or knowledge to complete, which i can reason with.
I was treated like i worked at the company full time so full responsibility was given.
The experience as a whole was great and gave me a fantastic insight into working in the finance industry in which i would not have been able to gain elsewhere.
The Company
Happy and friendly.
Very well organised, i got sent an updated timetable frequently.
The firm invested in me fully giving me responsibility to complete new and involved tasks.
Sports and Social Club
Very appealing and exciting
The Culture
Very good social scene as everyone was like minded and got on, they weren't afraid to have a good time.
Not too expensive as it was in the north.
Good bars and places to go clubbing.
Football runs every 2 weeks in the office and we got invited to a football tournament in Manchester which was unreal.
