The Role
I enjoyed learning about how a large company runs. I also enjoyed meeting a lot of new people.
I worked with two other interns so I felt that our combined contribution was valued but maybe a bit less individually.
The management team was usually very good but there were occasions were we had to wait for some help with our project.
This varied, some days I was busy all day, other days less so. We were given an internship long project so the workload was up to us most of the time. I might have enjoyed a more structured timetable.
The project we were given was interesting and challenging and it was up to the three of us how to do it. I might have liked some insight into other projects the team was working on.
I feel like I have learned a lot during the internship and it has given me good confidence and communication skills which will be useful for me in the future.
The Company
Very relaxed vibe to the office everyone wearing casual clothes.
Good set up with a 2 day induction in London which was a good experience.
The training we received was good and an interesting induction at the start.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Potential offer of a place on the graduate programme which sounds like a good programme to be a part of.
The Culture
The group was very good at organizing stuff to do, but unfortunately I wasn't available to attend a lot of them.
Fairly expensive but there are a lot of choice if your willing to travel.
Good but you had to travel and the location I was staying didn't have the best public transport but that was just me.
There were plenty of things to get involved with but as I went home most weekends, I couldn't go to all.
