The Role
The position suited me very well. I enjoyed the problem solving task and the mix between working in a laboratory and in an office
The company encouraged good team work with each other. We had regular meetings to plan the week's task. Everyone was very helpful and I was well looked after.
I supervisor would always provide me with reading materials to broader my knowledge in the field. She would set up meetings to monitor my progress and check if there were anything else I would like out of my work placement. Anything new, she would make sure I watch and learn.
It was mixed. Because we planned everything, I knew what days were going to be busy and what days werent.
Because I was a quick learner, I was able to do lab work independently early on.
I have gained a better understanding of the industry and gained value skills which has so far aided me really well in my final year of Uni. It has given me the advantage over others as I have hands on experience and would need very little training in the same job position of another company.
The Company
We have fun and joke about on occasion.
I had trains which were organised for me and I was given the dates to when to attend te trainings.
The training was very good. They made sure I understood the task clearly.
