The Role
I enjoyed my experience because veryone was lovely and very friendly. However, sometimes I found I didn't get enough work to do, it could feel very lonely and isolating at times, I didn't get access to a lot of things which stopped me from getting certain things to do.
Some collegues made me feel like family, other not so much. Many were friendly with me and got to know me while I felt that others didn't try too hard.
Many managers and other colleagues tried their best to guide me through this experience. I gave this rating a 8 as I felt whenever I needed help especially at the beginning when all was completely new to me I was left to do everything myself without a full understanding and when I was stuck it could have been hours before I was able to get help.
Most of the time I wasn't kept too busy. I felt that sometimes others thought I was given more work but I am a fast worker and I usually finished work quickly and was left with nothing to do for a few hours.
i would say that overall, I was left with not a lot of responsibily being completely honest. At the beginning I recieved a lot of admin work that required little responsiblity. I got one task to do regarding recruitment which was a responsibilty of mines during the experience.
I did gain many skills in communication, listening and rapport. I would say that the first few weeks of my placement were very slow and didn't gain a lot of development skills over all.
The Company
I find the office very lonely and isolating personally. Usually everyone will be in a good mood and happy but my experience has felt very lonely because I am in an office room alone and so are the others I work with which can be quite daunting and if help is needed you don't want to interupt others in their offcies. However, once I do get speaking to others in the office they are very friendly and positive.
I gave this score as I was unable to gain access to majority of the work that I was suppose to do from the beginning. I have also struggled with access to printers etc, so whenever an admin job is needed done I can not print and have to go through others whenever they are busy. I also feel like not enough work was given to me.
I gave this score as I do feel a lot of people I have met have really put time and effort into this experience for me, they intoduced me into projects and brought me along to meetings and talks in which they believed would develop me further. However, I feel others had not put as much effort into my personal training and development that I had hoped for or that others have given me during this experience.

I did gain a great knowledge of the bank from being here and have looked into areas I would not have known existed within the bank. There is so much more to this bank than what you would expect which I believe is very appealing about the future employment prospects of this bank.
The Culture
All of my fellow interns and I got on extremely well and even invited me along to gain more knowledge on their sector of the bank.
I lived at home for my internship. Outisde of work I did not really socialise with any one from inside. However, I did have my family and friends which was a bonus.
I did not move away for my internship, I really enjoy the night life within my home town.
One of my colleagues during the internship invited me to an activity outside of work once, However this was the only time outside of work activities had taken place.
