The Role
Great people. Got given a lot of responsibility, as well as good exposure to the business outside of my team.
People are extremely friendly but also extremely busy in deal-based teams. You do need to reach out proactively to get to meet people, although everyone is very open and willing to help.
Always able to turn to my manager, team members and people within the business both for internship-related advice and career advice overall. Most people go out of their way to help you
I was in a deal-based team so working hours could vary between 8:30am-7:30pm to more relaxed days that were 8:30am-6pm.
Given the level of skills and knowledge I had, I would say I was given quite a lot of responsibility - meeting management and doing presentations for the team
I learnt truly valuable quantitative/analytical skills, as well as gained very strong people/soft skills
The Company
All teams are busy but also relaxed and friendly.
