The Role
It's a great opportunity for those wanting to work in the charity sector or wanting to gain experience in a specific role
One of the best things about Cancer Research UK is the people you work with - everyone's really welcoming and work together for the same cause
My mentor has been great with everything from getting to grips with my role and learning new skills to advising me abut my future career
It's pretty busy but but luckily that's because you are treated like a real employee
My mentor encouraged me to take the lead but was always there for questions
I think this placement will make a real difference as I pursue a career in the charity sector
