The Role
I enjoyed my placement, the team was friendly and the work was stimulating and diverse.
My colleagues were always very patient with me and happy to explain anything I was struggling with and help me out.
Although I had little contact with my line manager, a colleague in the team oversaw most of the work I completed.
Normally a good balance but sometimes days with very little to do, and others were a challenge to finish all my work by COB.
I was given responsibilities, but there was always someone to check what I was doing to ensure I wasn't making too many mistakes.
Although my placement wasn't relevant to my degree, I found what I learnt interesting, and hope to use it in later life.
The Company
Atmosphere was really good, always felt hard working but never stressful.
There was some confusion in certain elements of the internship, especially the vetting process before hand.
Although I learnt skills, most were through independent research.
Hoping to get onto the graduate scheme.
The Culture
Staying in accommodation with the other interns allowed me to make good friends.
London life was very expensive.
Nightlife was quite expensive, however nights were fun.
Went on a team treasure hunt which was fun.
