The Role
This internship wasn't very enjoyable. My team did not give me that much work and I spent a lot of time doing nothing. Additionally, the work I was given was often very boring and required little brain capacity.
My colleagues often failed to get back to me on work I sent them, and often forgot to follow up on work I had been doing for them. Additionally, many of my colleagues were quite critical of me.
My Supervisors provided me with good support and feedback. They also advised me on how to impress
Not very
I was not given much responsibility. Only Mundance tasks
I developed interpersonal skills and networking skills. We also had to do an intern project which was interesting and allowed me to develop my presenting and analytical attributes
The Company
People were often quiet, only really happy at particular times.
It was well organised as a whole but the team I was in did not have a plan on what work to get me involved in etc.
There was a lot of training sessions to get me familiar with the bank's functions. However, aside from this, there wasn't much else.
Not very. The conversion rate is quite low as the bank is lowering their intake.
The Culture
Everyone stayed at the same accommodation, however they was nothing going on.
We were provided with free accommodation somewhere close to our offices
Didn't go out
There was a charity challenge and some extra curricular sports tournaments including table tennis and rugby.
